GATHERING IN NATURE - Strengthening Our Connection to Nature in a Time of Disconnect
- Mobilizing a movement towards the IDGs -
This is a unique Inner Development Goals Gathering where we invite you to join us in nature, wherever you are. Go out to a nearby park, go into your closest forest, walk up a hill or sit in a garden. Or move closer to a plant if you are in an indoor office. We will be introduced to a variety of aspects related to human-nature connection, including Nature Quests, Earth Rights and the Transition Movement.
This Gathering will include a joint experience of a nature connection exercise guided by Göran Gennvi. As always in the IDG Gatherings, we will also allow space for conversation and connection in smaller groups.
Join us in an experience of nature (re)connection and reflections on what it might mean for our time, for humanity and for the planet.
The Gathering will start 15.30 CEST in Zoom. The official end is at 17.00 CEST. After that we invite all to stay on for an additional 30 minutes of "afterglow" to chat with other participants and contributors.
About the IDGs
In 2015, the UN Sustainable Development Goals provided us with a comprehensive plan for a sustainable world by 2030. However, progress is not happening fast enough.
There is an urgent need to increase our collective abilities to face and effectively work with complex challenges. This is why we are co-creating the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) - a blueprint of the capabilities, qualities and skills that are needed to achieve the 17 SDGs.
The Inner Development Goals is a non-profit, open-source organization to help us develop the collective inner skills and qualities needed to overcome our global challenges and move towards a thriving world.
